Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- Accommodation agreements and related agreements with respect to accommodation facilities that are members of our chain of hotels (hereinafter referred to as "the Hotel") entered into by the Hotel with guests shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established practices.
- When there are agreed upon items which differ from this Contract (including Attachments) in the individual contract for accommodations, said items shall have priority over this Contract.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

A Guest who intends to make an application for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following particulars:
- (1) Name of the Guest(s);
- (2) Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival;
- (3) Contact information of the guest or reservation holder;
- (4) Accommodation charges (including taxes) ; and
- (5) Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.
- If Guests request to extend their stay, during their stay, beyond the date in subparagraph (2) of the preceding Paragraph, it shall be regarded as an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request is made.

Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)
- An accommodation agreement shall be established when the Hotel accepts the application described in the preceding article and when the acceptance is indicated on the URL of the Hotel’s website for reservations (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), or when an e-mail to that effect reaches the server managing the e-mail address designated by the guest.
- When a Contract for Accommodation has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Guest is requested to pay an accommodation deposit set by the Hotel within the limits of Basic Accommodation Charges covering the Guest's entire period of stay (3 days when the period of stay exceeds 3 days) by the date specified by the Hotel.
- The deposit shall be applied to the room charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if a situation arises in which the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, the deposit shall be applied to the penalty charge and then to compensation, and any remaining amount shall be returned upon payment of the charge in accordance with Article 12.
- If the Guest fails to pay the deposit by the date as stipulated in Paragraph 2, the Hotel shall treat the Accommodation Contract as invalid. However, the same shall apply only in the case where the Guest is thus informed by the Hotel when the period of Payment of the deposit is specified.
- In the event that the Hotel has presented an incorrect room charge on the Website and you have applied for a room agreement based on such room charge and the Hotel has accepted the application, if the room charge is significantly lower than the room charge for the preceding and following dates, unless there is an indication of the reason for the lower rate, such as "limited," "special," "campaign," etc., the room agreement will be canceled and we will promptly notify you to that effect because it is an acceptance based on a mistake under the Civil Code.

Article 4 (Special Contracts Requiring No Accommodation Deposit)
- Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, the Hotel may enter into a special contract requiring no accommodation deposit after the Contract has been concluded as stipulated in the same Paragraph.
- In the case when the Hotel has not requested payment of the deposit as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article and/or has not specified the date of payment of the deposit at the time the application for an Accommodation Contract has been accepted, it shall be treated as though the Hotel has accepted a special contract prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.

Article 5 (Refusal of Accommodation Contracts)

The Hotel may not accept the conclusion of an Accommodation Contract under any of the following circumstances:
- (1) When the application for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
- (2) When the Hotel is fully booked and there is no vacancy;
- (3) When the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself/herself in a manner that will violate laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to his/her accommodation;

(4) When the person or the group requesting Hotel accommodation is recognized as one of the following:
- a) An organized crime group (hereinafter collectively referred to as an "Organized Crime Group”) as prescribed in Article 2 (ii) of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Code 77 issued in 1991); an Organized Crime Group member (hereinafter collectively referred to as an "Organized Crime Group Member”) as prescribed in Article 2 (vi) of the said Act; a semi-regular Organized Crime Group Member; or a party related to Organized Crime Group;
- b) A corporate or an organization whose business activities are governed by an Organized Crime Group or an Organized Crime Group Member; or
- c) A corporate whose executive management has an Organized Crime Member.
- (5) When the person requesting Hotel accommodation is behaving in such a manner as to be an annoyance to other guests;
- (6) When a person who intends to stay at the Hotel commits an act of violent demand against the Hotel or its employees, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range (including repeated demands for services not provided by the Hotel or unreasonably restraining the Hotel's employees for an extended period of time).
- (7) When a person who intends to stay at the Hotel is a patient with a specified infectious disease, etc. as defined in Article 5, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the Hotel Business Act.
- (8) When accommodation cannot be allowed due to a natural disaster, trouble with the facilities, shortage of staff or for any other unavoidable reason.
- (9) When there are reasons specifically prescribed by the ordinances of each prefecture or municipality.
- (10) When only minors without parental permission stay in the room.
- (11) When the person who made an application for an Accommodation Contract is found to have hidden an intention of making a commercial profit at the reserved room.

Article 6 (Right to Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Guest)
- The Guest is entitled to cancel the Accommodation Contract by notifying the Hotel.
- In the event that a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation agreement due to reasons attributable to the guest, the Hotel shall charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the attached table. However, in such cases where the Hotel accepts the covenant stipulated in Article 4, paragraph 1, this shall only apply when, at the time of accepting the said covenant, the Hotel has notified the guest of the fee payment obligation in the event of the guest canceling the accommodation agreement.
- If the Guest does not appear by 8:00 p.m. of the accommodation date without advance notice (30 minutes after the expected time of arrival if the Hotel is notified), the Hotel may regard the Accommodation Contract as being cancelled by the Guest.

Article 7 (Right to Cancel Accommodation Contract by the Hotel)

The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract under any of the following circumstances:
- (1) When the Guest is deemed liable for conduct and/or has conducted himself/herself in a manner that will violate laws or act against the public order and good morals in regard to his/her accommodation.

(2) When the Guest is recognized as one of the following:
- a) An Organized Crime Group; an Organized Crime Group Member; a semi-regular Organized Crime Group Member; or a party related to Organized Crime Group;
- b) A corporate or an organization whose business activities are governed by an Organized Crime Group or an Organized Crime Group Member; or
- c) A corporate whose executive management has an Organized Crime Member.
- (3) When the Guest has or is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests.
- (4) When a person who intends to stay at the Hotel is a patient with a specified infectious disease, etc. as defined in Article 5, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the Hotel Business Act.
- (5) When the Guest commits an act of violent demand against the Hotel or its employees, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range (including repeated demands for services not provided by the Hotel or unreasonably restraining the Hotel' s employees for an extended period of time).
- (6) When the Guest is behaving in such a manner as to be an annoyance to other guests;
- (7) When the Guest does not comply with the prohibitions of the Hotel's Rules of Use, such as smoking (including smoking with electronic cigarettes, heated cigarettes, or similar tobacco products) in a non-smoking guest room, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc., and failure to comply with other prohibitions in the Rules of Use established by the Hotel.
- (8) When the Hotel and/or Hotel staff suffers from violent threat or unreasonable burden from the Guest
- (9) When a guest has made an application for accommodation without actually intending to stay at the hotel.
- (10) When the Guest breaches these Terms and Conditions, Hotel Regulations stipulated by the Hotel and any agreements that have otherwise been concluded by the Hotel and the Guest.
- If the Hotel has canceled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge the Guest for any of the services during the contractual period he/she has not received. However, if the cancellation was caused by the reason as prescribed other than in subparagraph (6) of the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel shall charge the Guest for the services he/she has not received as the cancellation fee. In this case, the Guest is not exempt from the liability for damages he/she has incurred to the Hotel as prescribed in Article 18.

Article 8 (Registration)

The Guest shall register the following particulars at the Front Desk of the Hotel on the day of accommodation:
- (1) Name, age, gender, address and contact information of the Guest(s);
- (2) Nationality, passport number, port and date of entry in Japan;
- (3) Date and estimated time of departure; and
- (4) Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.
- In the case where the Guest intends to pay his/her accommodation charges prescribed in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as coupons or credit cards, these credentials shall be shown in advance at the time of the registration prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.

Article 9 (Occupancy Hours of Guest Rooms)
- The Guest is entitled to occupy the contracted guest room of the Hotel from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. (Some hotels are not subjected.) However, in the case when the Guest is accommodated continuously, the Guest may occupy the guest room all day, except for the days of arrival and departure.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may accept the use of guest rooms outside the hours specified in the preceding paragraph. In such cases, the following additional fees will be charged.
- (1) 1,000 yen for 1 person, 1,500 yen for 2 persons, 2,000 yen for 3 persons, 2,500 yen for 4 persons, and 3,000 yen for 5 or more persons per hour of extended time (applicable to all hotels managed by Greens Co., Ltd.)
- (2) With respect to the preceding item, the extension is limited to 2:00 p.m.
- In the event that a guest stays in the same room for two or more consecutive nights, the Hotel shall, in principle, clean the room daily. In the event that a guest requests that no cleaning be required, or in the event that a guest stays in the same room for four or more consecutive nights even if the plan does not allow for cleaning, the Hotel’s staff may enter the room and clean it at least once every three days from the standpoint of hygiene control, and the guest may not refuse this request.
- In cleaning the guest room as described in the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may request the cooperation of the guest to ensure that the Hotel’s staff does not touch the guest's personal belongings. In the event that the Hotel deems it necessary for safety and hygiene purposes, it may request the guest to move (change) room, and the guest may not refuse this request.

Article 10 (Observance of Hotel Regulations)
- Guests are required to follow the Rules of Use (including notices, etc. posted in the facilities) provided by the Hotel.
- In addition to the General Accommodation Terms and Conditions and the Rules of Use, guests are required to follow any instructions that the Hotel deems appropriate from the standpoint of safety and hygiene. In the event that a guest fails to follow the instructions of the Hotel without justifiable reason, the Hotel may refuse accommodation or cancel the accommodation agreement and ask the guest to leave the Hotel in accordance with the provisions of Articles 5 and 7.

Article 11 (Business Hours)

The business hours of the Hotel main facilities are as follows, and those of other facilities, etc. shall be notified in detail by brochures as provided, notices displayed in various places, the Service Directory in guest rooms and other means.

(1) Service hours of the Front Desk, cashier etc.: To be posted within the premises of the Hotel.
- a) Closing time
- b) Front service

(2) Service hours for dining, drinking etc.: To be posted within the premises of the Hotel.
- a) Breakfast
- b) Other dining, drinking services
- (3) Additional services hours: To be posted within the premises of the Hotel.
- The business hours specified in the preceding Paragraph are subject to temporary changes due to unavoidable circumstances of the Hotel. In such cases, the Guest shall be informed by appropriate means.

Article 12 (Payment of Accommodation Charges)
- The breakdown of accommodation charges and means to calculate them shall be discussed and agreed upon by the Hotel and the Guest to be applied to each case.
- Accommodation charges, etc. as stated in the preceding Paragraph shall be paid at Front Desk at the time of the Guest's arrival or upon request by the Hotel in currency or other means acceptable to the Hotel such as coupons and credit cards.
- Accommodation charges shall be paid even if the Guest voluntarily does not utilize the accommodation facilities provided for him/her by the Hotel after they are made available.

Article 13 (Liabilities of the Hotel)
- The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for damage if the Hotel has caused such damage to the Guest in the fulfillment or the nonfulfillment of the Accommodation Contract and/or related agreements. However, the same shall not apply in cases where such damage has been caused due to reasons for which the Hotel is not liable.
- The Hotel is covered by Hotel Liability Insurance to deal with unexpected fire and/or other disasters.

Article 14 (Handling when Unable to Provide Contracted Rooms)
- The Hotel shall, when unable to provide contracted rooms, arrange accommodation of the same standard elsewhere for the Guest insofar as practicable with the consent of the Guest.
- When arrangement of other accommodation cannot be made, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation charges and the compensation fee shall be applied to reparations. However, when the Hotel cannot provide accommodation due to causes for which the Hotel is not liable, the Hotel will not compensate the Guest.

Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Articles)
- In the event of loss of or damage to articles, cash or valuables deposited by a guest at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate those damages, except in the case of force majeure. However, with regard to cash and valuables, in the event that the Hotel requires the guest to disclose the type and value of such items and the guest fails to do so, the Hotel will compensate for damages up to a limit of 150,000 yen (except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel).
- In the event of loss or damage caused by the Hotel's willful misconduct or negligence to articles, cash, or valuables brought into the Hotel by a guest and not left at the front desk, the Hotel will compensate such damages. However, if the type and value of the item is not specified by the guest in advance, the Hotel will compensate for damages up to a limit of 150,000 yen (except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel).

Article 16 (Custody of Baggage and/or Belongings of Guest)
- When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel before his/her arrival, the Hotel shall be liable to store it only in the case when such a request has been accepted from the Hotel. The baggage shall be handed over to the Guest at the Front Desk at the time of his/her check-in.
- When the baggage or belongings of the Guest are left behind in the Hotel after check-out, the Hotel shall keep it under its custody for 14 days including the day on which it is discovered. However, baggage or belongings which are consumable goods, food and drinks, and other items that impair the hygienic environment, newspapers, magazines, plastic umbrellas, and other everyday items, and which it has been deemed the Guest has relinquished ownership shall be disposed of the next day. Furthermore, the hotel shall keep cash and valuables under its custody for seven days including the day on which it is discovered and shall then deliver it to the nearest police station or handle it according to the management procedures prescribed by the Company.
- Liability of the Hotel in regards to the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the case of the preceding two paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the Preceding Article in the case of Paragraph 1, and with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of Paragraph 2.

Article 17 (Liability in Regard to Parking)
- The Hotel shall not be liable for the custody of the vehicle of the Guest when the Guest utilizes the parking lot within the premises of the Hotel, as it shall be regarded that the Hotel simply offers the space for parking, whether the key of the vehicle has been deposited to the Hotel or not. However, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest for damage caused through intent or negligence on the part of the Hotel in regards to the management of the parking lot.

Article 18 (Liability of the Guest)
- The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for the damage caused through breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or any other regulations stipulated by the Hotel or through any actions intent or negligence on part of the Guest. The Guest shall also compensate for the loss when such breach or actions incur the Hotel the expenses to clean and/or repair the damaged hotel room or cause loss of sales opportunities for the Hotel.

Article 19 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
- Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the accommodation agreement and related agreements under these terms and conditions shall be settled in accordance with the laws and regulations of Japan and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the location of the Hotel.

Article 20 (Language)
- These Terms and Conditions are in both Japanese and English. In case of a discrepancy between the Japanese version and English version, the Japanese version will take precedence.

Article 21 (Amendments to these Terms and Conditions)
- The Hotel reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions at any time in accordance with the provisions of Article 548-4 of the Civil Code, in the event of any of the following. In the event that these general terms and conditions are amended, the accommodation agreement shall be governed by the amended general terms and conditions.
- (1) When the amendment of these general terms and conditions conforms to the general interests of the guests.
- (2) When the amendment of these general terms and conditions does not conflict with the objectives of the accommodation agreement and is rational when considering the necessity of the amendment, the appropriateness of the amended content, the details thereof, and other circumstances pertaining to the amendment.
- In the event of any amendment to these general terms and conditions, the Hotel shall determine the effective date of the amended terms and conditions and notify the guests of the amended terms and conditions and the effective date of the amended terms and conditions by displaying them on the Hotel's website at least two weeks prior to the effective date of the amended terms and conditions.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, in the event that a guest applies to use the Hotel after the notification of changes to these general terms and conditions as stated in the preceding paragraph or fails to take steps to terminate the accommodation agreement by the date of use of the Hotel, said guest shall be deemed to have agreed to such changes to these general terms and conditions.

* The % is the ratio of the penalty to the room rate.
* In the event of a partial change, such as shortening the contracted number of days or reducing the number of rooms, a cancellation fee will be charged for all applicable days.
* In the event of cancellation of an agreement, a cancellation fee calculated based on the room charge for the number of persons for whom the agreement has been canceled will be collected.
Terms of Use
The Guest shall observe the following Hotel Regulations pursuant to Article 10 of the Terms and Conditions. When the Guest fails to observe any of these Hotel Regulations, the Hotel may cancel or terminate the Accommodation Contract in accordance with Article 7.

- The Guest shall not use fire for the purposes of heating, cooking and burning of incense etc. in corridors or the contracted room.
- The Guest shall not smoke in fire-prone areas and any other areas other than those designated by the Hotel. (This also applies to smoking with electronic cigarettes, heated cigarettes, and similar tobacco products)
- The Guest shall not sing out loud, make noises and otherwise behave in the way to be annoyance to other guests.

The Guest shall not bring the following things into corridors or the contracted room:
- a) Animals and birds (excluding guide dogs)
- b) Items that emit a noticeably bad odor
- c) Significantly large quantities of goods
- d) Stimulants (e.g., psychoactive drugs like methamphetamine, ritalin, etc.), narcotics, and other drugs whose possession is prohibited by law
- e) Explosives, volatile oils, and other chemicals that may ignite or catch fire or cause bodily harm
- f) Guns and swords that are not legally permitted to be possessed
- The Guest shall not engage in behaviors that violate public morals such as gambling in corridors or the contracted room.
- The Guest shall not invite into the contracted hotel room his/her acquaintances in an indiscrete manner when they are not hotel guests and let them use facilities and goods in the room.
- The Guest shall not use the lobby and the contracted room for sales or exhibition purposes without permission.
- The Guest shall not use goods and articles in corridors or the contracted room for purposes unintended for them.
- The Guest shall not move, process, take out, or use for purposes other than the original use of facilities and various items in the building.
- The Guest shall not engage in any activity that interferes with the safety and hygiene of the Hotel.
- The Guest shall not dye or bleach his/her hair in the prefabricated bath unit.
- The Guest shall not place indecent materials that may injure dignity of the hotel in view of many.
- The Guest shall not distribute advertisements to other guests in the hotel premises.
- The Guest shall not leave his/her belongings in corridors or at the lobby unattended.
- The Guest shall not take delivery of food and beverages from any establishment other than those approved by the Hotel.
- The storage period for guests’ laundry and lost and found items is up to 7 days after the guest’s departure, unless otherwise specified.
- The Guest shall not walk about or use public spaces in the hotel such as corridors, lobby and restaurants in night wears and slippers.
- When the Guest wishes to extend the period of stay, he/she shall be first requested to pay the accommodation charges up to the previous day upon the issuance of invoice by the Hotel.
- In the event that a guest room key is lost, the guest will be charged the full cost of the lock replacement work.
